Mice are our Pets of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Amy from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio yesterday morning so we talked on the phone about Mice!

You might not think of small animals like mice when you think of rescue pets, but these little squeakhearts have been in our care for nearly 200 days, and they’re hoping to find their loving furever homes soon! All of these little guys were born in our care and are friendly, social, and SUPER cute! Mice make wonderful starter pets for younger children, or those will small spaces.

Obedience Classes

Has your relationship with your dog been a little ‘ruff’ lately? HSWM is here to help with our obedience classes!

If your pup just needs assistance with basic training and manners, we have classes for that! Or maybe your dog is shy and fearful, and could use some help building up their confidence–or maybe they’re reactive to new people or pets, we have classes to help with that too! Microchip Discount Day

We’re also excited to announce that next week we’ll be offering a Microchip Discount Day at our shelter!

For ONE day only, next Wednesday, February 23rd, we’ll be giving up to 100 animals microchips for just $5 per pet!! From 3 to 6:30pm, head to our Admitting Department to get your pet microchipped and protect them for life.

We expect this microchip special to be pretty popular, so we recommend showing up early to make sure you’re able to take advantage of these savings while supplies last!
