Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio yesterday morning so we talked on the phone about Charlie!

This little looker has a lady-killer smile and is the King of Twerking! If you give this big baby some butt scratches, he will bounce his little booty right into your hand for more--it's so cute! As you can tell by his dance title, Charlie is always the life of the party, he has so much energy and is always ready to go go go! He loves to play, go on walks, and explore outside.

Charlie would do best in a home where he is your only pup, and may be a bit high energy for young kids, though he has lived successfully with cats in the past. This sweet cinnamon boy has been waiting for a furever home for far too long, but we know the perfect family is out there for him!

Thank you to Orphan Kitten Club

We'd like to extend a HUGE thanks to the Orphan Kitten Club and the Mighty Cats funding that helped us save three adorable kittens--who are now on the road to recovery and will shortly be adopted into loving furever homes!

HSWM took in a mom and her litter of kittens from Detroit Animal Care and Control in early March. Little did we know what Mighty Cats we were about to meet! Directly after going into foster, they experienced rapid onset diarrhea and vomiting, followed by a drop in weight. Molly and Zola required care at the local emergency clinic over the weekend for hydration and monitoring. Then Des and Ellie suffered the same symptoms a few days later. They all ended up back in our care for additional fluids and monitoring. Three of the four rallied. Unfortunately, Molly was not able to fight it off and lost her fight, though not for lack of trying.

They have been eating, gaining weight, and thoroughly enjoying life! They started life off rough with a mysterious bug, but it didn’t stop them! They are full of life and ready to play, bounce and cuddle with their forever family!"

Kicking off kitten season in West Michigan was much easier, thanks to the assistance from the Orphan Kitten Club. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
