Parker from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the Coronavirus, but talked on the phone with me about Lois for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Lois is ready to be the queen of the house and would like to have all of the attention to herself. Lois would love to share her home with adults, and would likely do best in a quiet, routine home. Have a yard? Perfect, she'd love to spend time running, playing and lounging in a space of her own!

Parker also talked about:

Empty the Shelters Totals

Last weekend was Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters! We were able to offer fee waived adoptions thanks to the foundation and an anonymous donor. We're happy to announce that 21 animals found their forever homes through this event!

If you missed it, we run adoption specials periodically! Check our website, www.hswestmi.org for more information!

Become a Foster for HSWM!

If you've ever thought about fostering an animal, now is the time! HSWM is especially in need of fosters for adult dogs and cats.

Foster families care for animals while they wait to be adopted. All supplies and medical care are provided at no cost, you simply provide a safe home and love!

Apply to be a foster family here:  http://www.hswestmi.org/foster.html
