Meet Vivian, 6-year-old female, medium mixed breed dog, our Humane Society Pet of the Week!

This sweet and social girl is SO ready for her forever home. Vivian adores people and wants to give love to every new person she meets. She has even lived successfully with children and loves to give them kisses.

Always happy to be near her humans, Vivian believes there is no such thing as too many cuddles! She also enjoys being around other dogs and is very calm and respectful around them.

Adoption Events this week and weekend:

We will be out in the community this weekend with adoptable animals at our partner's locations! Be sure to join us on Thursday from 2:00- 4:30p at Pet Supplies Plus in Caledonia (1843 Marketplace Drive, Caledonia MI, 49316)

or Kool Toyota on Saturday from 10:00 am- 12:30p

Vaccine Clinic:

HSWM will be hosting a vaccine clinic to help serve those in the community and provide needed vaccines. The first 150 pets will receive a free bundle of vaccines and heartworm prevention on Saturday, September 30^th: 11:00 am-2:00 pm at St. Alphonsus Parish (224 Carrier St. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49505). After the first 150 pets vaccines are still significantly discounted at $10 per vaccine. In order to qualify you must receive government financial assistance. No appointments are required.

Puppies at HSWM:

We have been supporting some of our partners from smaller more rural shelters with puppies and have many that are ready to go home!
