This month, January, 2018, is the 101st  birthday of Heart of West Michigan United Way. And, they are celebrating by Living United and giving back to the community. They want you to celebrate, too.

The entire staff of Heart of West Michigan United Way is demonstrating ways to Live United on January 19th. They will be donating personal care items to pantries, movie passes to a family therapy program, and so much more.

Can you get involved? Of course you can, and they are hoping you will. There are over 200 opportunities here in Kent County, ranging from simply greeting guests at a food pantry, becoming a mentor for an after-school program, preparing taxes, woodworking...the list goes on.

Actually, January 19 kicks off a year of volunteering with events planned throughout the year.

To find out all of the opportunities out there, log on to their website HERE, and get busy!

THANKS FOR HELPING!
