Are You a Caring Person? September 14 is Your Day to Show It
Heart of West Michigan United Way's Day of Caring is September 14, and it's our chance to get out there, get involved, give a little time, and show how much you do care.
United Way's Volunteer Center will be organizing dozens of projects for this year's Day of Caring, Kent County's largest corporate volunteering event. This service day helps employees from local businesses learn about the needs of our community, give back through service, and discover local agencies that are working to ensure that West Michigan is a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive!
There are two opportunities for you to volunteer:
MORNING PROJECTS: 9AM-12:00PM
KICK-OFF LUNCH: 12:00PM-1:00PM @ John Ball Park
AFTERNOON PROJECTS: 1:30PM-4:30PM
For Corporate groups, you can sign-up with your Account Manager. For the Public Project, you can volunteer at The Equest Center. Sign up here for the Equest Center. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/united-way-day-of-caring-2018-volunteer-at-the-equest-center-tickets-47825867457
