Valor the cat visited with Andy Rent as he talked about her on the Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Tammy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Valor into the studios.

Valor is 3-months old and hoping to find his forever home soon.

According to the Cat Fanciers Association, if you're looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family, look no further than the Domestic Medium Hair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, sweet personality, and amiability with children, dogs, and other pets.

Today (Wednesday the 22nd) is the last day for the New Family Member November Adoption Special! Adult dogs are only $99 to adopt, while cats (5-months old and older)  and critters are fee waived.

Ryan Malone from Chow Hound Pet Supplies and Meredith Gremel from SpartanNash joined Tammy, promoting Giving Tuesday, next Tuesday, November 28. SpartanNash and Chow Hound Pet Supplies will be matching donations dollar for dollar, up to $10,000, on Giving Tuesday. As a non-profit organization, the Humane Society relies on community support to provide the resources to care for the 3,500+ animals who are adopted from HSWM annually. When you donate on Giving Tuesday you know that your dollars are going twice as far and helping twice as many animals in need!

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
