The Golden Raspberry Nominations Announced

With all the hub-bub over the Oscar nominations on Thursday morning, I totally forgot the other, most coveted, award, the Golden Raspberry, better known as the Razzies!

Ah, the worst of Hollywood, and, there were many "worsts" this past year. 

Adam Sandler and his dreadful sequel Grown Ups 2 lead the nominees for the 34th annual Razzie Awards.  The comedy is up for eight diss-honors -- including Worst Picture, Worst Lead Actor (Sandler), Worst Screenplay and Worst Supporting Actress (Salma Hayek). Sandler is no stranger to the Razzies. He was named worst actor last year for That’s My Boy, and his 2011 comedy Jack and Jill made Razzie history after winning a record 10 awards, with Sandler taking home both the worst actor and actress prizes.

After Earth, Movie 43 and A Madea Christmas have six nods each.

Other nominees include Kim Kardasian, Lady Gaga, Lindsay Lohan, Selena Gomez and Johnny Depp.

The Razzies will be handed out on March 1st, the day before the Oscars.
