The 39th President of the United States will be making his way to Grand Rapids for a lecture and book signing.

President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will be in town on Monday, Sept. 22, as part of Grand Rapids Community College's Diversity Lecture Series.

Carter is expected to speak for about 45 minutes, followed by a question-and-answer session.

If you would like to attend, the lecture is free, but you must reserve tickets. Tickets for the book signing are $28, and include a copy of President Carter's book.
