There is an Exclusive Grand Rapids Restaurant, But It’s Only Open a Few Times a Year
Are you looking for a fine dining experience, fantastic food with world-class service when going out for dinner?
Yes, we do have many fine dining restaurants in Grand Rapids, but there is one special place, only open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's, and only a few weeks a year. It really is a must treat, if you can get in.
It's the Heritage Restaurant! Heard of it? No? It truly is special because it is part of Grand Rapids Community College and the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education.
It's amazing as it is staffed by culinary school students under the direct supervision of Chef Professors and Table Service Professors.
The Heritage receives rave reviews from all diners for quality of food, innovative dishes, excellent service, and only cost $45 per person, and that is for a four course meal!
Their location is downtown, in the GRCC Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center, on the corner of Fountain and Ransom Streets. Parking is off of Ransom Ave., and the physical address is 151 Fountain Street NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
Reading the Reddit Grand Rapids website, people were raving about it.
"I ate here for the first time in the fall and it was one of the top 10 meals I had all year. The spots fill up fast, but it is so so worth it!!"
"Went on Feb 14 many years back and it was great. Do recommend."
"The Heritage is an excellent place to get a 5 star meal without breaking the bank.
Culinary students switch off being the front and back of house staff and all are under the supervision of award winning instructors. It is definitely a hidden gem!"
For sure it is a gem in our community. You must give it a try!
