I cannot get enough of fresh berries in the warmer months.

Cherries.

Strawberries.

Raspberries.

Blueberries.

Blackberries.

Oh, and smoothies. I can’t get enough of those either!

They are breakfast made easy. Or have one as a mid-day snack. Or enjoy one as a post-workout replenisher. Or try one as a dessert!

They’re so very versatile. I make them almost daily in the spring and summer months.

Blackberries are extremely rich in antioxidants, helping to keep our immune systems strong and bodies running properly. They’re juicy and sweet, not to mention bright and beautiful!

Nature knows best.

This Blackberry Banana Chia Smoothie is a meal, too, packing nearly 20 grams of protein with a half cup of plain Greek yogurt and chia seeds. It's a naturally sweet, creamy and fulfilling drink!

Ingredients
For the salad

  • 1 frozen banana, chunked
  • 1 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup coconut milk from box (I used So Delicious)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 packet Sweet Leaf (Stevia)
  • Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. You might have to stop and stir several times to help it along.
  • Cheers
  • Notes
If you are using frozen blackberries, you might have to add a bit more milk to help the blending process. This makes one large or two small smoothies.
