Is Your Dog in Danger? Do Not Feed Them This Dog Food.
There is a big pet food/dog food recall happening now and if you have this food for your pet the FDA says "destroy" it immediately!
Yikes! That's scary, but you sure don't want your dog getting sick and maybe even die because they ate some contaminated food.
I'm talking about Mid America Pet Food's Victory Dog Food. They are voluntarily recalling three lots of Victor Super Premium Dog Food, Select Beef Meal & Brown Rice Formula produced at its Mount Pleasant, Texas production facility because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This voluntary recall was initiated after a third-party conducted random sampling and product associated with three lots tested positive for Salmonella.
You sure don't want your dog getting Salmonella because it's very nasty. Pets with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.

The other scary thing about Salmonella is that humans can catch it too. These could be your symptoms of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. Also, Salmonella may cause more serious ailments in humans, including: arterial infections, endocarditis, arthritis, muscle pain, eye irritation, urinary tract symptoms. If you have any of these symptoms should call your healthcare provider right away.
