Crash is Our Pet of the Week on Wet Nose Wednesday

Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the Coronavirus, but talked on the phone with me about Crash!

Crash, an 11-year-old Silver Paws kitty, so he is Fee Waived!
Crash is a hunka chunka burning love! He’s an extremely affectionate, talkative lap cat who loves to follow his people around and snuggle as often as they’ll let him!

Adopt a Senior Pet Month (November 1st-30th)

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month--so we’d love to bring attention to our Silver Paws program!

All year long HSWM offers FEE-WAIVED adoptions for cats over 10 years of age, and dogs over 7 years of age! These pets may have less time with you than a puppy or a kitten, but they’re always so grateful for a quiet home to retire to, and they will repay you with lots of love! If you’re thinking about adopting this month, please consider one of our Silver Paw pets.

National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week November 6th-13th

It’s National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week!
We want to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff and volunteers in our community who work hard every day to help make our shelters the best they can be! We can't do this work without the people who are so passionate about their jobs and our animals, and we appreciate each and every one of you!
