Parker from the Humane Society of West Michigan wasn't able to come into the studio this morning due, of course, to the Coronavirus, but talked on the phone with me about Chase for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Chase is a 1.5 year old, 35 lb all-white mixed breed with the best smile. Chase still has a ton of puppy energy, and would love someone who will teach him all kinds of tricks and skills. He can be met with virtually through our new No Contact Adoption process!

New: No Contact Adoptions!

- Browse adoptable animals and complete an application on our website, www.hswestmi.org

- Virtual meet & greet: staff and/or foster families will introduce you to the animal and answer and questions you have. All information about the animal will be shared at this time. You will then have the opportunity to adopt!
- Adoption: All adoptions can be done over the phone. Payment and contracts can be completed from home via an internet-enabled smart phone. Once all paperwork is completed, we will schedule a time for you to pick up your new companion!
- Pickup: Pickup will be contact-free, with important documents being sent electronically when available. Head home with your new family member and enjoy your new life together!

We appreciate your patience and support during this time and hope No Contact Adoptions will be a great option for our community! Questions about this new process? Email us at adoptions@hswestmi.org

At this time, our shelter will remain closed to the public and all other non-adoption programs will remain suspended until May 1st per Michigan Executive Order.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
