Blue is a 2 month old chocolate retriever mix who recently arrived from Tennessee on one of our life saving animal transports. He and many other adorable puppies will be available for adoption soon! Blue would do well with a variety of different families and ready to find his home! HSWM offers puppy classes and other resources to make adopting a puppy a little bit easier! Head to our website for more information.

Adopt a Working Cat from HSWM!
HSWM's Working Cat program is at capacity and we need your help! What is a working cat? Working Cats are cats that often prefer living outside and having a job. These cats make great mousers, keeping barns, greenhouses, and more free of critters. All working cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. All you have to provide is food and water, a safe and permanent shelter (barn, greenhouse, etc) and time for acclimation. There is no fee to adopt a working cat! Head to www.hswestmi.org/working-cat-program.html to learn how you can apply!
