Tomorrow? Mother's Day! You didn't forget, did you? Hopefully not. Whether you're treating you mom, or in husband cases, wife, it's going to cost. But, isn't that money well spent? Of course it is.

Valentine's Day is almost at hand.  And, guys, I know how challenging it can be to find the right gift for your sweetheart, especially flowers. If you're like me when I'm ordering flowers, they'll ask me what I want, and I begin to stammer! So, here is a bit of a tutorial on flowers, courtesy of Ranker.com.

The National Dahlia Show is this weekend at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. With people coming from all parts of the country, and the world, for that matter, this free exhibit will be an exciting place to be.

We get all kinds of email, some real, much spam.  And, of course, with spam, you just get rid of it, right?  I do.  I usually just mass-delete all of the stuff. I do, however, read the lead, or headline and subject to make sure I'm not deleting something that is legitimate.  And, when I read this one with  the subject "Bacon Shaving Cream," they had me hooked.

If only every Winter could be like this every year!  Everyone who loves a typical Michigan Winter feels like they have been cheated out of West Michigan fun.  If you live in Michigan you must like cold weather and Pond Hockey, and Ice Skating, and Skiing, and Snowboarding at Cannonsburg Ski Area, right...

All right. Here's the rundown. Flowers are the big number one. No surprise there. That's the way most people go year after year, and moms love it, so why not? My mom has a green thumb, so I go with potted every year, but your mom might prefer cut. It's up to you.
