According to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey, we will spend an average of $172.22 on mom for Mother’s Day, with most husbands/sons/daughters, buying flowers.

Here’s how it breaks down:

Flowers: 67%
Dinner or brunch: 55%
Gift Cards: 43%
Clothing: 35%
Jewelry: 35%
Spa Day/Massage: 23%
Gifts of experience (like tickets to a concert or sporting event): 22%
Electronics: 14%

And don’t forget the card: given by 78% of those surveyed.
