If you've ever been to the east side of the state there's a chance you've eaten or at least heard of Bobcat Bonnie's.

The restaurant's original location is in the Corktown neighborhood of Downtown Detroit and since opening in 2015 have expanded to other cities around the Detroit area and Ypsilanti. Now they're coming to the west side!

WOOD-TV reports that Bobcat Bonnie's will open sometime this fall at the Breton Village Mall. They will take over the building that Houlihan's used to be in. Houlihan's closed that location in 2019.

The owner, Matt Buskard, told WOOD that they were very lucky to survive through the pandemic and he even credits their brunch for keeping them going.

Brunch is kind of our thing that we love, I love it personally myself. We have an amazing brunch. It’s very high energy, the music is loud, the cocktails are flowing and the brunch food is very fun and approachable.

As someone who loves brunch, I.AM.THERE. As a woman in her 30's I've found that I much prefer brunch and day drinking now over being out late into the night. You say brunch? I say I'm there!

I was scoping the brunch menu and they even have cereal shooter flights... yes, alcoholic cereal drinks. As far as food goes, they really do have a variety of foods that would please any taste bud... like their 24K Gold Wings that LITERALLY have 24 karat gold in it. From Flamin' Hot Pickles to burgers to a variety of tots and daily dinner specials, there's something for everyone!

Buskard also told WOOD-TV that they pay $15+/hour to their employees and offer health care and paid time off.

They've already started a Facebook page for their upcoming Grand Rapids location so you can follow all the latest updates.
