Snoopy Visits for Wet Nose Wednesday
Snoopy the dog came calling today.
Snoopy visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.
Trudy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Snoopy into the studios.
Snoopy is a 2-year old beagle mix and needs a great home. He came to the Humane Society from Tennessee, and has just been with them about a week.
Snoopy's been treated for heartworm, Snoopy's new human bestie will need to purchase 6 months of heartworm preventative and HSWM will match 6 months.
According to the American Kennel Club, the Not only are Beagles excellent hunting dogs and loyal companions, they are also happy-go-lucky, funny, and—thanks to their pleading expression—cute.
Beagles love to follow their noses, which can sometimes get them into sticky situations. These dogs are solid, sturdy, and fairly easy to care for, but they do need to run around and let off steam.
Trudy mentioned August 19 is Homeless Animals Day. The Humane Society would like to continue to remind us all that rescue is best, adopt don't shop.
They also have some exciting support from Kool Toyota. For the month of August - Kool Toyota will donate $20 to HSWM for each new car sold in August
