Flu season has reached a new peak.

The Michigan Department of Community Health says that reports of flu-like symptoms at hospitals and doctor's offices have reached a seasonal high.

The weekly report from MDCH tracks reports of flu-like symptoms and confirmed cases of the flu.

While flu activity remains minimal in Michigan, it has reached it's highest level of the season and highest since March.

Much of the country remains in minimal or low activity. A few states in the south are the only exception.
