5 Laws Michiganders Could Be Breaking Right Now
I am pretty sure that most of us in Michigan know when we may be breaking the law. It's obvious, right?
But, as we have discussed before, there are actually some wacky laws that are still on the Michigan books that we may be breaking and not even know it.
I'm here to help you out and trying to keep you out of jail!
👇BELOW: HERE ARE NEW MICHIGAN LAWS IN EFFECT THIS YEAR! 👇
Here are some everyday things in Michigan that you could be doing and find yourself in hot water, according to the website When In Your State.com/Michigan.
YOU CANNOT BE DRUNK ON A TRAIN
The next time you take Amtrak to Chicago, watch the celebration and save it for Chi Town, or you could be in big trouble.
ADULTERY IS A FELONY
This is most likely never enforced, but you could get up to 4-years in prison if convicted.
YOU CANNOT SING TO YOUR GIRLFRIED
Actually, this is only in Kalamazoo, so here in Grand Rapids and West Michigan, sing away!
YOU CANNOT SWEAR IN FRONT OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Even though this is a very old law, and probably never enforced, just in case, you had better keep conversations clean and simple for your own sake.
YOU MUST BE 18 TO DANCE "UGLY"
What kind of dancer are you? It seems to me that most people out on the dance floor at a party, wedding reception, dance club or bar, are dancing badly. Would this be considered "ugly?" Who knows! At any rate, make sure you NEVER DO the "Elaine!"
