Better Hurry! Pronto Pups Is Opening For This Weekend Only!

The beloved Grand Haven Pronto Pups, hot dogs on a stick, are back, but this weekend only for the winter.

I know it's cold and snowy outside, and we all know Pronto Pups is that favorite summertime treat on Harbor Drive in Grand Haven. But, we have to wait until spring so we will be able to fill our face again.

Not so fast there dog boy! Pronto Pup does it every year, opening for one-winter-weekend to satisfy the craving we all have for this crazy treat.

Of course thousands line up for Pronto Pups when it is nice a warm in Grand Haven.

So, now is the time to get yours, tomorrow through Sunday, January 15 through 18.

The Nelson family may appear to be a bit wacky, but they seriously know what they're doing as they will fire up the fryer for four days only, and serve thousands!

As they have been for years, they're still in the white and yellow food stand right on the street, Harbor Drive, and they'll start tomorrow, Thursday, January 15, at 11 a.m. and run to 8 p.m. through Sunday.

It's one of the things you do when you're on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Grand Haven. You get a Pronto Pup no matter what you have planned that day!

Here's the good news, the prices are the same as last year. No "tariff" higher price!

Pronto Pups will be $1.75 a piece and bottled water for $1—the same prices for the last 18 years. Cash only.

Tomorrow and Friday might be your best times to grab yourself a couple or three since with work and school, the lines probably will probably be shorter. But Saturday and Sunday watch out. Who knows, that line might be all the way back to Spring Lake!
