Jennie stopped by with Mildred. Mildred is a 3-year-old Terrier mix that was recently returned to HSWM due to unfortunate circumstances. She is a happy but shy girl that has been known to get along with other male dogs. She is not a huge fan of felines so she should not go to a home with cats.

Jennie also mentioned that yesterday, Tuesday, February 19, HSWM volunteers and staff members headed to Chicago to pick up dogs that are from a Korean meat & puppy farm. We have partnered with The Humane Society of the United States as well as Humane Society International (HSI) which made this transport possible. There were over 200 dogs ceased from this farm in which multiple shelters have stepped up to take some of them in. To help support the animals that are coming to HSWM please consider donating to our International Second Chance Campaign.
