April showers bring May flowers, but maybe this year they can bring something else too.

Can you adopt Daryl from Crash's Landing?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Daryl.

Daryl was born in February of 2009.

He was rescued from the southeast side of town and was in very rough shape when he was found.

Daryl was a mess and had been beaten up pretty badly by other cats on the street.

Crash's Landing took him in, cleaned him, and treated his wounds. It was also discovered that he is FIV positive.

Despite his rough times, Daryl is a very sweet cat who loves to be loved.
