Andy and Gene from Crash's Landing have been through some tough times together.  Now, they're ready to move on to the next chapter.

Can you help by adopting one or both cats from Crash's Landing?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Andy and Gene.

Andy and Gene were born in February, 2007.  They were adopted as kittens from a different animal rescue in town, but came back a year and a half later.  It was discovered that both cats had Feline Leukemia virus.

Crash's Landing was called for help and took them in during February of 2011.

In March of 2012, Andy provided some unwanted excitement.  He escaped!

Andy escaped through a second floor screen window.  He was found and returned in July of 2012.  Safeguards have been taken to avoid this from ever happening again at Crash's Landing.

Needless to say, Andy and Gene love adventure and are a lot of fun!  They don't have to be adopted together, but they do need to be placed into a home with another cat if they are not.

Can you adopt Andy or Gene?
