Mellow, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, came to visit.

Andy Rent talked about Maxine with Megan from the Humane Society of West Michigan on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Maxine is a 5-year-old Terrier Mix who came to us as an owner surrender in October. She has been in our foster program for a while now and recently came back to HSWM due to her foster family having another dog. That being said Maxine should be an only pet at least until she is acclimated to her new home.

Megan reminded us that Paws, Claws and Corks is coming up next Monday, March 18 at DeVos Place beginning at 6 p.m.

This extravaganza will feature the hottest restaurants, breweries, and wineries in West Michigan. Guest will enjoy sampling of fabulous cuisine tastings of fine wines and microbrews, and an opportunity to bid on amazing experiences and packages during the live and silent auctions.

The funds raised will benefit Humane Society of West Michigan in their mission to promote the humane treatment and responsible care of animals in West Michigan and beyond through education, example, placement, and protection.

Tickets are $100 per person ($50 of the ticket price is tax deductible) - $1,250 per Corporate Table (Reserved seating for 10) Individual tickets are available for purchase online at www.pawsclawsandcorks.com. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available.
