London, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, came to visit.

Andy Rent talked about London with Parker from the Humane Society of West Michigan on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

London is 2 and one-half months old and a real mix of breed, that was brought to the Humane Society from Mississippi. She is full of puppy life, lovable and loving and ready to be the darling of your family.

Parker also discussed National Lost Pet Prevention Month & Microchip Clinic:
July is National Lost Pet Prevention Month! This month aims to educate the public on ways to keep pets in their homes and reunite them with their owners should they get lost. One of the best ways to prevent a lost pet is by getting your pets microchipped!
HSWM will be offering a Microchip Clinic this Thursday, 7/18 from 4-6pm, in which microchips will be just $10! Check out our event page on Facebook for more details.

Parker also talked about two fundraisers.

Dog Days of Summer @ Big E's - East Beltline
Big E’s Sports Grill is teaming up with Elk Brewing on a special beer that will be available for the rest of the summer (or while supplies last). A portion of the proceeds from the special brew will be donated to HSWM! Join us and some pups in celebrating the launch for an event tomorrow evening, Thursday 7/18 from 5-9pm at the East Beltline location!

Kitten Adoption Day @ Craft Beer Cellar - Downtown Grand Rapids
Kittens and beer! What could be better? Join us at the Craft Beer Cellar with Short's Brewing Company for a kitten adoption event from 2-5pm. There will be raffles for prizes with all proceeds going to Humane Society of West Michigan. Short's will be donating $1 for every Short's draft beer sold, and Craft Beer Cellar will match that $1 donation as well.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
