Former Tiger pitcher Justin Verlander was out partying in L.A., but according to him, he wasn't partying THAT much.

Verlander posted to his Twitter account a harrowing bill he received while out on the town in Beverly Hills. A one million dollar plus bar tab.

The thing is, the miscellaneous 'Dodger Killer' charge was a joke the restaurant was playing on him, and for having a good sense of humor, the joint comped his tab, which was actually a reasonable $142.00.

Which, to little old me, is still a hefty price for breakfast, but that's Beverly Hills for you.

If you don't know the story behind the joke, Verlander pitched the Houston Astros over the Los Angeles Dodgers in last fall's World Series.
