Stars of Shark Tank Are Coming To Grand Rapids

It was back in 2009 that ABC debuted a new kind of reality TV show about business entrepreneurs pitching their product idea to a group of business leaders, "Sharks."  It was a wild guess that something like it would succeed, but boy did it ever, and Shark Tank has been running ever since.

Now, two of the "Sharks" are coming to Grand Rapids!

The Right Place, Inc. just announced that two entrepreneurs and stars of ABC's Shark Tank, DAYMOND JOHN,

and, ROBERT HERJAVEC, will be here!

The two "Sharks" will co-headline the Tech Week Grand Rapids 2026 Kick-Off event, held on Monday, September 14, at GLC Live at 20 Monroe.

It sounds like a lot of fun because it will be sort of a fireside chat between the two Sharks.

With the week being devoted to the transformative power of technology in the Greater Grand Rapids region, their discussion should be fantastic.

Andria Romkema, Senior Vice President of Business Development at The Right Place , said:

"Both have built their careers by anticipating where technology and business are heading next, and we're excited for our community to hear their perspective on what the future holds. It's going to be a fantastic way to kick off Tech Week on September 14."

This is the fifth year for Tech Week in Grand Rapids, a multi-day celebration of the Greater Grand Rapids region and it's growing tech companies.
