Meet today’s furry friend, Jumper! Jumper is an incredibly sweet bunny with big ears, and an even bigger heart.

His foster family says, "Jumper is such a sweetheart! He hops over when he sees us, and he LOOOVES treats and food! Jumper definitely really likes pets and attention, but he's not a huge fan of being picked up. I have a pretty active house, between kids and other pets, and Jumper has made himself right at home!

Empty The Shelters is here!

 Spring is here, and it's the purrfect time to adopt your new best friend!

 From Tuesday, May 2nd to Saturday, May 13th, BISSELL Pet Foundation and Cathy Bissell, in partnership with Dogtopia, will sponsor adoption costs, so that adult dogs in our care will be only $50 to adopt, adult cats will be just $25!

 Adoptions have been slow lately, but we know together we can Empty The Shelters and find all of our rescue pets loving homes!

Sandals and Espresso Shots

Join HSWM and Chaco at Outside Coffee Co. next Friday, May 12th, from 1-7pm to treat yourself to sandals and espresso shots!

Chaco will be bringing their Make-Your-Own Chaco bus to Outside Coffee Co. to allow you to customize a pair of chacos just the way you like them. While you're there, swing by the Outside Coffee Co. truck to get your caffeine fix--and we'll also have our Adoption Trailer filled with adoptable pets for you to meet and adopt!

 As always, Outside Coffee Co. is pet friendly, so feel free to bring your pups with you!

 Mother’s Day Tea with Tinies Event

Looking to have the best girl’s day? Come to Humane Society of West Michigan for our first ever Tea with Tinies Mother’s Day event!

Whether you’re mom or a furmom, we’re throwing a party to celebrate you and all you do! For just $5 you can join us for sweet treats & tea, a floral photo booth, permanent jewelery pop-up from Lovey Links, all the self care necessities from The Pink Opossum Shop, and of course tiny animals for you to cuddle and love on. We’ll have a station to entertain the kiddos as well if they’d like to join you!
