I need gas.  My gauge is on empty, so I'd better get going and fill up unless I want to be sitting on the side of the road somewhere.

I feel good about this because the price of gas has come down so much.  I'm going to save some serious dollars since the last time if filled up.

But.....hold on there.....alert.....alert!  The price at the pump is expected to rise significantly in the next few days.

Gasbuddy.com just sent out an alert Sunday night warning that the cost of gas could rise $0.25 to $0.40 in the next 48 hours.  Regular gas prices in Walker and Plainfield Township ranged from $3.27 to $3.32 a gallon Sunday night.

An aggressive debt deal in Europe sent the price of oil soaring more than $7 a barrel Friday; that's the largest one day gain since 2009.

Thanks Greece!  Thanks Spain!  Thanks Europe!
