We talked with Emily from the Humane Society today about Hazel.

Hazel is a 5.5 year old retriever mix that is looking for a quiet home to settle down in. She has a sweet, greying face and big ears that you're sure to fall in love with.

Emily also said she need our help.

Meet Rascal! Emily said we have a very special cat at HSWM in need of a home. Rascal is an 18-year-old sweetheart who came to us after losing his owner. A loud shelter is no place for a cat his age. Rascal is looking for a quiet home with no other pets where he can relax and live out his days. He is very low-maintenance and is often described by volunteers as "80% couch potato, 20% active". Please contact us at adoptions@hswestmi.org if you have room in your heart and home for this independent senior kitty. By the way, Rascal is fee-waived, so he's FREE to the right home.

Emily talked about an exciting event coming up.
