Those who partake don't have to drive out of Grand Rapids anymore to score your recreational marijuana.

Recreational marijuana has been legal in Michigan for over a year now and for some reason the city of Grand Rapids was behind the curve on opening up sales, well now the wait is over.

According to MLive, you can begin purchasing recreational marijuana Friday, October 23, at Fluresh which is located at 1213 Phillips Avenue SW. Fluresh will now be the first dispensary you can purchase recreational marijuana in Grand Rapids.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, you won't be able to shop inside Fluresh but will be able to place orders online for curbside pickup at the dispensary. If you are a marijuana patient, you will be allowed to shop inside.

Sometime in the future all customers will be able to shop inside Fluresh but there is not set date at this time.

Here are the hours of Fluresh in case you would like to make an online order, they are open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you do an online order, the take their last one at 8:30 p.m. each day so don't try at 8:55 p.m. are you will be bumming.

If you don't feel like making the trip and you live in a reasonable distance from the dispensary, they will deliver 7 days a week from noon to 6 p.m.

Fluresh has already been selling medical marijuana supplies but recreational users will now be able to get recreational marijuana, edibles and extracts.

If you are looking to save right out the gate, Fluresh is offering 20% off for newbies if you purchase one of their brands of weed.

Just a little back story on Fluresh, they have their own grow operation that is located in Adrian, Michigan. So their products are homegrown and fresh.

Fluresh plans to have 100 people working at the location by the end of the year.
