Been looking to bring a kitty into your home? Now is the time!

The Kent County Animal Shelter is offering free adoption for almost 120 cats and kittens.

According to Fox 17, shelter officials say they've seen a HUGE surge in the cat population and it's urgent to get these felines into loving homes now.

All those up for adoption have been spayed or neutered and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. They are all up up-to-date on vaccinations, have been micro-chipped, and are ready to go home with you today!

The Kent County Animal Shelter is at 740 Fuller N.E. in Grand Rapids.

Hours are  Monday through Thursday 1pm-7pm (adoption cutoff time is 6:30) and Friday from 9am to 5pm (adoptions available until 4PM).

If you'd like to make a cat or kitten part of your family,  fill out an adoption form here.
