Emery came calling today.

Emery visited with Andy Rent as he talked about them on the Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Kimberly, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Emery into the studios.

Emery is a 2 month old orange tabby kitten. According to Kitten Toob, Tabby cats are very common felines, but they’re not actually recognized as a breed. It’s not a fact that many people are aware of. They’re some of the cutest cats in the world, as well as the most common. Most people who own cats have, at one time or another, owned a tabby cat. They’re very common, very friendly and they make excellent pets.

The Humane Society is having a Kitten Cabana Adoption Event this Friday the 14th at the JW Marriott on the JDek from 5:30pm-7:00pm with adorable, adoptable kittens! You can have dinner on the JDek and meet some of there furry friends! From 5:00pm-10:00pm JW Marriott will be donating a portion of food sales to HSWM and will be serving up specialty cocktails, with an animal themed twist! There is no cost to attend outside of adoption fees, if attendees wish to adopt, and food and beverage purchases at Six One Six.

The adoption fee for kittens is $95, if you adopt one kitten you have the option to adopt a second kitten for free. Adopters may bring their own cat carrier or may purchase one of their cardboard cat carriers for $5. They will be processing adoptions onsite, pending that kittens are ready to go home (spay/neuter surgery completed or scheduled) then adopters may bring their new kitten home with them that evening. Otherwise, a pick up time will be scheduled

Can't adopt but want to help Humane Society of West Michigan? Consider becoming a foster parent! They are always in need of fosters willing to open up their heart and home to a pet in need.
