Would You Like to Adopt a Dog? Babe Could be Your Answer
Just like her namesake says, this pup IS a total babe, and has some of the most amazing ears we've ever seen!
I had a chance to chat with Heather from the Humane Society of West Michigan about Babe. Heather said she is a bit shy with new people at first, but give her time to warm up and she's a total doll.
This pretty girl would prefer to be your only baby, furry or otherwise, but she promises to make sure you feel loved. Babe likes to play with toys, chow down on yummy treats, and has the most BEAUTIFUL smile!

Foster Appreciation Week
We'd also like to celebrate National Foster Appreciation Week this past week by thanking all of our amazing fosters that allow us to care for over *300* pets more than our shelter space would accommodate!
Our foster program is the busiest it's ever been, and we couldn't do it without this amazing community stepping up to become foster families! Our kitten fosters especially have worked so hard this year, and are all literally life savers. If you know someone who has opened up their hearts and their home to a shelter pet, please thank them, as they give so much to the pets in their care!
If you’d like to join our foster family, we would love to have you! HSWM provides all of the training and supplies you’ll need to save the lives of rescue pets. Learn more about fostering and how to get involved on our website at hswestmi.org/foster.
