The waiting is over for thousands of people who spent hours in line for Black Friday.

The waiting continues for something more important.

There are over 100 cats at Crash's Landing waiting to be adopted.

Can you help?

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Eileen.

Eileen was born in March of 2003.  She came to Crash's Landing after being hit by a car on March 19, 2006.

Eileen required surgery and Crash's Landing provided it.  Soon after surgery Eileen was adopted.  Sadly, the man who adopted her passed away in June of 2012.  He left four cats behind, including Eileen.  Crash's Landing took all four in.

Eileen is very athletic and very entertaining!  She always seems to be jumping somewhere and balancing on something.

Can you adopt Eileen?

There are other ways to help Crash's Landing and give back to the community.  Consider becoming a volunteer at Crash's Landing.
