Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Crash's Landing has been open for nearly ten years.  In that time, they have found homes for over 2,700 cats!

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Archie.

Archie first came to Crash's Landing on November 8, 2010.  He was in rough shape.  Archie had a skin infection, a respiratory infection, and an eye problem.  Crash's Landing gave him the surgery he needed, but that surgery had complications.

Archie had a reaction to one of the anesthetics.  His lungs filled with fluid and his life was in danger.  Crash's Landing acted fast.  The hours to come were very stressful.  But Archie made it through and is completely healthy today!  Dr. Jen from Crash's Landing calls him a "miracle cat".
