Coronavirus Curve Starting to Flatten in Michigan
In Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's just held news conference, she stated that our Coronavirus curve may be flattening.
The website Clickondetroit.com reported the Governor said the data shows that the state is starting to flatten the curve, specifically in Southeast Michigan, but now is not the time to drop our guard. Michigan still reports many new cases each and every day, 25,635 cases as of today, with too many related deaths, 1,602.
The social distancing order from the Governor, which was extended to at least April 30, seems to be having an effect. While many of us Michiganders would love our freedoms back, Whitmer says they will return, it won't be permanent.
