We all like to show our patriotic spirit on the 4th of July.

This year make your country proud by putting that patriotic energy towards a great cause.

Adopt Drumstix from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Drumstix.

Crash's Landing first heard about Drumstix in January of 2012.

Drumstix had tested positive for the Feline Leukemia virus and Crash's Landing was contacted about taking him in.

Normally, the wait list to get into Crash's Landing is long, but Drumstix was lucky and was able to get right in.

We're hoping you can help his good luck continue by giving him a place to call home.

Drumstix is a ton of fun. He's full of energy and has been called one of the silliest cats Crash's Landing has ever seen! He'd make a great addition to any family!
