Brandy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, came to visit.

Andy Rent talked about Brandy with Brooke from the Humane Society of West Michigan on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Brandy, a sweet 2 year rottweiler mix who was transferred from Gainesville, FL as part an evacuation following Hurricane Irma. She is a sweet active dog who would do well in a home that can give her lots of love and play time.

The American Kennel Club says the Rottweiler is happiest when given a job to perform. The Rottweiler is a devoted companion. An inherent protector, the Rottweiler is self-confident and responds quietly and with a wait-and-see attitude to influences in his environment.

The Humane Society of West Michigan's Animal Relocation Fund is accepting donations to their fund to assist with transportation related needs to bring animals to HSWM from other high need areas, such as with Brandy and the other who were transported from Florida.

This Saturday, September 23, is the Bissell Pet Foundation- Empty the Shelter Hurricane Relief. All adult animal adoptions will be fee waived. Now through Sept. 23rd all adult animals who were transferred to HSWM as rescue efforts from Hurricane Harvey or Irma have their adoption fees waived as well.
