Everyone's favorite pizza pockets are on recall after there have been reports of plastic and glass found inside.

The United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a recall of 762,615 pounds of Pepperoni Hot Pockets last week.  The recall came after they received 4 complaints from consumers who found "extraneous material" inside of their Hot Pockets.  That "extraneous material" turned out to be glass and plastic.

According to an article by Delish, "These Hot Pockets were produced from Nov. 13, 2020 through Nov. 16, 2020, and were distributed to stores nationwide."

And in the recall report from the Food Safety and Inspection Service the packages that were contaminated were the "54-oz carton packages containing 12 “Nestlé HOT POCKETS BRAND SANDWICHES: PREMIUM PEPPERONI MADE WITH PORK, CHICKEN & BEEF PIZZA GARLIC BUTTERY CRUST” with a “BEST BEFORE FEB 2022” date and lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614, and 0321544614."

Only a single injury was reported from consuming the contaminated Hot Pockets.
