The 6 Worst Coffee Brands Sold in Michigan!
Are you a coffee lover as I am? Many people are. That first hot cup of coffee in the morning is one of life's little pleasures.
Seriously, just the smell of fresh brewed coffee gets my blood flowing, and then that first sip is a little bit of heaven.
👇BELOW: CAN YOU PRONOUNCE THESE MICHIGAN CITIES NAMES? MOST CAN'T👇
Many people will say coffee is coffee. They don't care where it came from, whose bean it is, just brew it and pour it for me.
Not I. I love the local shops and roasters for the best coffee. Here at the studios we only drink Schuil coffee, a local roaster for over 40-years and it's delicious.
But we can't forget Ferris Coffee & Nut, Madcap Coffee, Biggby Coffee, and so many beloved local, cozy little coffee shops. We are blessed!
On a national level, I do have to vote for Starbucks. I'm basic, though. Just a Grande Pike's Place please.
But you know what, there are some really bad coffee's out there, I've had a few, and according to an article on MSN.com from MUI Kitchen US these brands you should probably leave on the shelf.
So, if you really love coffee, leave these alone and move on.
Number 6. Costco's Kirkland Signature Coffee!
MUI says no one really knows where their beans come from, so best to avoid.
Number 5. Nescafe'!
MUI says the fact that the brand doesn't offer certified organic coffees, along with the possibility of its products containing chemicals and mold, should worry customers.
Number 4. Yuban!
MUI says former lovers of Yuban are unhappy because they changed their beans and customers are not liking it.
Number 3. Green Mountain Coffee!
MUI says that Green Mountain was famous for its independent, high-quality coffee. However, the company switched focus and shifted towards cost-cutting and mass production.
Number 2. Death Wish Coffee!
MUI says this is an extremely high caffeine coffee. Death Wish has begun using lower quality beans, and the oiliness of the whole beans is a problem for home grinders. Also, is it really worth $20 a pound.
And, the Number 1 coffee to leave on the shelf is.....
FOLGERS!
MUI says Folgers, known for its pre-ground coffee, has freshness and quality issues. They shifted from a beloved household name to a brand marked by shortcuts in quality and ethics.
Happy brewing!
