West Michigan Charities Competing To Win $45,000 Construction Project

Erhardt Construction is celebrating their 50th anniversary by giving away $45,000 towards a construction or renovation project.  The winner will be a non-profit organization from Ottawa County or Kent County.

The winner will be decided by online voting open to the public.

Voting started Monday and as of Thursday over 10,000 votes had already been cast.  Anyone can vote once registered.  Registered voters may vote for their favorite eligible charity once per day.  Registration for charities closed June 11.

The contest is divided into two rounds.  The first round runs 6/18 - 7/13 with one vote per day per voter.  At the end of round one the top five charities will move onto round two.  Round two will run 7/23 - 8/17.  Voters may vote for one of the five once per day.
