Using A Big Mac To Learn Economics
Earlier today, I was blogging about comfort food. Fat food that makes us feel better. Did you know we could use a Big Mac to make us smarter? Researchers have come up with a Big Mac scale to measure the economy.
Kind of like how many of us judge the value of our restaurant meal based on the "five dollar out-the-door" model.
The "five dollar" model uses the Little Caesars and Subway five dollar menu as a way to compare what you get to what you spend. My 40 dollar pizza dinner at a well known restaurant was worth 8 subs. You get it.
