If want to stick with a popular name, the most popular names in Michigan for 2024 were Charlotte and Noah, Nameberry.com says, followed by Harper, Violet, and Nora for girls, and Hudson and Jack for boys.
But you know, you do not have to go that route if you don't want to, and it doesn't have to be that much of a stress problem. You can do a little research, Metro Parent.com says. If you seriously want something unique for your baby's name, some of the work has been done for you.

Even though this information is three years old, Stacker used the Social Security Administration’s baby names database to compile a list of unique baby names state by state. Metro Parent.com says the formula they used was to "take he least popular names in 2022, look for one from each state with only five babies given the name, and figured this to be the most unique name."
