The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is holding auditions for women (AGES 30 -50) at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre on July 29 & 30.   This isn't a "cattle call," however.  These auditions are BY APPOINTMENT only.

The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is a gem in the Grand Rapids community.  It's community theatre that welcomes new and returning actors to the stage.   Dixie Swim Club is a comedy about five Southern women who set aside a long weekend every August to recharge relationships that formed during their college swim team days.  Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives.  This production focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years.

Dixie Swim Club will appear on the Grand Rapids Civic Stage September 7 – 22, 2012.
