Civic Theater Announces Blockbuster Line-Up for New Season

How do you top this?  That may well be the thought after Grand Rapids Civic Theater announced the new season of show for 2013-2014.

It's an incredible line-up, bringing a number of shows never seen on the Civic stage.

Grand Rapids Civic Theater was the first Community Theater contacted for production rights to Les Miserables.   For the first time in this play's 25-year history, Community Theatres are able to perform this piece for a very limited time only, so look for it on the Civic stage February 28 through March 23, 2014.

The Michigan debut of the 2012 Tony Award Winning (Best Play) Clybourne Park will hit the stage January 17 thru February 2, 2014.

The entire new season begins on September 6th with Sherlock Holmes: Final Adventure.  On October 18th  The Giver opens, followed by The Sound of Music, opening on November 15, Clybourne Park, January 17, Les Miserables,   February 28, Junie B. Jones - Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, April 18, 9 to 5 - The Musical, May 30, Disney's Camp Rock - The Musical, July 25, and The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe, July 25.
