Do you know a child in need of shoes for the upcoming school year? Grand Rapids' non-profit, In the Image is hosting it's free shoe giveaway this month.

The giveaway will be on Monday, August 9th, at In The Image at 4255 Kalamazoo Avenue SE. They provide a free pair of shoes to children in kindergarten-fifth grade.

Broadway Grand Rapids is teaming up with In the Image to help at-risk children in Grand Rapids to get a new pair of shoes for school. Here's a heart-warming story.  Hundreds of students are heading back to school with new athletic shoes, thanks to In the Image’s Shoes Help Our Elementary Students (S.H.O.E.S.) Program.

I was out at Art Van today, one of my favorite places to do a live broadcast. Usually I'm on 28th Street with Pet,e but this time I was in Grandville across the street from Rivertown Crossings Mall, at Art Van's President's Day Sale!  I always have so many nice people stopping by...
