Here's a heart-warming story.  Hundreds of students are heading back to school with new athletic shoes, thanks to In the Image’s Shoes Help Our Elementary Students (S.H.O.E.S.) Program.

Our news partner, WZZM TV13, reports program organizers plan to distribute 13,000 pairs of new athletic shoes to at-risk children before the new school year starts. Eligible students attending Grand Rapids Public Schools and select schools in Kentwood, Wyoming and Godfrey-Lee will receive new shoes.

You cannot imagine how much a new pair of shoes means to the children.

In the Image added Potter’s House School to their list after realizing it would have enough shoes to serve children at that school. Potter’s House students can pick up their shoes at 1823 S. Division Ave. in Grand Rapids at the following times:

Today, Thursday, August 29: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a/m., 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, August 30:” 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., 1p.m. - 3 p.m.
